Versace Jumps On The Fancy Children's Clothing Bandwagon

Last week, Alber Elbaz and Lanvin announced that they would release a super luxurious line of children's clothing next fall, and another famed fashion house is following suit. Italian powerhouse Versace revealed that it will unveil Young Versace, its debut collection for boys and girls aged from 0-12, for the Spring/Summer 2012 season.

No word on price points yet (unlike Lanvin, who proudly stated that fabrics in the kids' line could cost as much as 10 times as those normally used for children’s clothing) but judging by the initial images, the Versace apples don't fall from the tree. These clothes certainly get across the house's signature glamour with a "youthful rock 'n' roll twist."

Even the sketches are sassy! Check out the little boy casually posing in the sequined hoodie, the girls giving face in the black leather and combat boots, and we even spot a Versace temporary tattoo.

If you want to know how to wear shorts for spring, the key is to go big or go home! Take risks with fabrications, like the striped knit shorts from Timo Weiland. Don’t be afraid to mix prints like the striped Marni Cardigan paired with the puzzle print DVF top. As long as the colors compliment one another you will be on your way to creating a lust-worthy ensemble.

Use carefully chosen accessories to accent and amp up your outfit. Notable pieces for this spring are ‘70s inspired two-toned sunnies, whimsical stacked bangles in a variety of hues and printed stacked wedges.

Club Monaco Fall 2011 Lookbook: 70s, Ethereal and Awesome

The maxi skirt has met its match in the middie, the 70s is a decade still well-worth mining, floppy hats are hot, ankle socks with shoes are rad, and I still love Tati Cotliar. These are just a few of the truisms found in Club Monaco's Fall 2011 lookbook.

Club Monaco is like that natural pretty girl who doesn't have to try too hard. The trick is to look put together, but not contrived. Reference retro, but don't over do it, muted tones are lovely and a flowing fabric can be sexier than bodycon when done correctly.

A-Line Mini Skirts at the Us Weekly Party: Mini Trend Alert!

Us Weekly had its annual "Hot Hollywood Party", and although the cast of attendees was kind of random, we were able to discern a true and possible mini trend from the beige carpet: the A-line mini.

It's coquettish and coy, and works really well if you happen to have long, thin legs like Lauren Conrad, Jessica Szohr and Whitney Port, but with its waist cinching action, the look is actually quite flattering overall. Each girl put her signature on the theme, click through for a closer look. Do you dig it?
